Accessibility Policy

Information Technology Issues Management (ITIM) is committed to providing an Information Security Awareness Training course that is easy-to-use and accessible to all users. The following information is intended to help you make use of the accessibility features included in this training. If you have any questions or comments/suggestions regarding the accessibility of this training, please contact ITIM at itim@tamu.edu or 979-845-9254.

Features
Navigation buttons: Move through the training using the Back and Next buttons Example picture of navigation button located below the content on each page/at the bottom of each page. These buttons also have ALT tag attributes for those using assistive technology (e.g., a screen reader).

Adjustable font size: Increase or decrease the size of the text on the screen by clicking on the text size options located at the top right corner of the training page. Example image of font adjustment button   

Plug-ins & Software: Install any or all of the following if you experience problems viewing parts of this training.

Adobe Reader – for viewing PDFs, such as the printer-friendly version of the training or the Take Away Tips printout (download now).
Adobe Flash Player – for viewing all flash interactivities (download now).
Windows Media Player 11 – for playing all higher resolution videos (download now).

Barriers
Parts of the training have been designed using Flash technology, which cannot be accessed by screen readers. However, the information presented in these Flash based activities will not affect one’s ability to successfully pass the quizzes.
